Studio news! I’m delighted to now be represented by Bugera Matheson Gallery in Edmonton.
This is one of the pieces on it’s way to the gallery called ‘Outside Looking In’. It continues the theme of looking intimately at nature; taking things in on a cellular level rather than the long view. A painting that just came together, almost as if I was a bystander. That should happen more often in my studio! The palette is paled down yet has it’s own energy, with reference to what I’ve been surrounded by this past summer here in the islands. This is a painting I find hard to let go...
If you are in the city, drop in to see Bugera Matheson, my paintings and take in their Fall Gallery Walk in the heart of the art district. It looks like a great way to spend time on the weekend!
